MBC network expands in Târgu-Mureș

The MBC network was born in 2011 with the construction of the first MBC 1 building which received BREEAM 2013 certification and in 2016 won the E.ON Energy Globe Award given for the greenest and most sustainable office building in Romania, partially powered by solar energy and a smart lighting system, heated by geothermal energy by placing 30 boreholes 180 meters deep under the building and charging sources for electric cars. Located in the centre of Târgu-Mureș, MBC 1 offers 4,000 sqm on 6 levels with elegant spaces for clients such as Accenture Industrial Software, Stefanini, OAR etc.

In 2015, work was launched on Multinvest Business Center 2, a building that was completed in 2017. MBC 2 offers professional spaces customized according to the requirements of large companies such as Lateral, AROBS, Sea Complet, DVSE, Digi, Raiffeisen etc, on an area of 9,000 sqm organized on 7 levels, with modern finishes, hi-tech solutions and state-of-the-art equipment, being located in a key area, near the main railway station, directly connected to a retail area, near the central area and with direct access to the European road connecting the city of Targu-Mures to Cluj-Napoca.

With the objective of creating a new business hub in the heart of Transylvania, to bring Târgu-Mureș back to the attention of national and international investors, the MBC network manages to offer the most modern and efficient working spaces in Târgu-Mureș. Due to the very high demand for professional spaces, after the success of MBC 1 & MBC 2, Multinvest continues the development by launching the project for the construction of three more interconnected buildings MBC3, MBC4 and MBC5, located in the immediate vicinity of MBC2 and the retail area. The first phase foresees the construction of an approximately 4,000 sqm building, MBC3, with customised Class A office space, turnkey or grey-stage, depending on each client's requirements, and underground parking, services and facilities offered to company employees, following an investment of over €5.1 million. Work is scheduled to start in autumn 2018, with an estimated delivery date for the first building in the first quarter of 2019. The new investment will generate more than 1,000 jobs and aims to make the whole complex the new centre of interest of the city of Targu-Mures for the business community and multinational IT&C companies.
